I must come from a long line of warriors. The first time I held
the hilt of a sword in my hand, it felt right. The first time
I pulled a bowstring to my cheek and let fly, it felt familiar.
And it might explain the pleasure I take in a fine blade or a fine
Just as I subscribe to the Heinleinian definition of "weapon"
(anything that comes to hand in a crunch and not necessarily limited
to physical objects), I subscribe to the idea that "warrior" has
many definitions. And I count myself a warrior by several of them.
